One of Design and Build NZ’s over a million dollar new house builds. This house on Waiheke island was designed by Owen Young, one of New Zealand's leading architects. 

This project was quite challenging as the section was steep and sloped off to one side. 

 

Due to a big cut for the water tanks the top floor had to be constructed first then the bottom floor followed by the mid-floors. A tricky way to build but the floors merged together exactly to the millimeter.
